Change Color Of Volume Profile + Highlight Value area In DOM

Hi Sierra Chart, In the DOM, is there a way I can change the grey background bar color of the left sides Volume Profile and also highlight the 70% Value Area? I can't seem to find where to do this, help would be very much appreciated - thank you. Kind Regards Stephen |

Can you please give us an image of what you are referring to, as there are a number of different things that you might be referencing.

Most likely you already have the Value Area highlighted. The particular Input for this is the following: Volume By Price Study: Highlight Value Area The reason we think you have this set to 'Yes' already is because the default coloring for the value area is the grey color you are seeing when the Bid Volume Ask Volume Coloring Method is set to None. Refer to the following for this Input: Volume By Price Study: Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method If that is the Value Area color, then you can change the grey to something else by modifying the settings for Value Area and Outline (SG9) subgraph. Hi John, Sorry I am not understanding this. I have the value area highlighted on my Volume Profile within price bar chart, please see below. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1663765370131.png I have this, and have set my SG9, but my VA in DOM is still showing grey? Is there not a setting within the DOM settings to configure this? Stephen |

You should just be able to change the colors for SG9 for the Volume Profile that is in the DOM to get the colors of the Value Area the way you want. There is no difference in doing this on the Trading DOM as on the Chart.

Hi John, I'm sorry, but I only see the SG9 in settings when I chose a study with my bar price chart, and I have changed the SG9 there in settings after I choose study, but its effect doesn't seem to be global. I don't see this on the DOM. I see only three top-level menuChart Trade Window with my DOM where do I see the SG9 within this? Thanks. Stephen |
