how do i get the low volume areas of a volume profile to have extension lines

There is not an extension line option for "low volume areas". There is, however, extension lines available for Peaks and Valleys, so if you are wanting a low volume that is in a valley, that is available. Refer to the following: Volume By Price Study: Extend Peaks and Valleys As a workaround, if you want to mark a particular level, you can use a Horizontal Line drawing tool, or the Horizontal Lines study, whichever may work best for you.
