I am having a problem with the ES historical Market Depth indicator that began on contract rollover last week. It seems to be almost drawing bands around price instead of showing levels (first chart). I can mitigate this somewhat by changing the Highest Quantity for Coloring value from 0 to 100 (second chart). However this is something I have never had to do prior and find it limiting in scope. The real issue I suppose is I'm just not sure if this is some sort of market phenomena or a simple software issue. I am using Denali feed by the way and all other Historical Depth Charts with other markets appear normal. I would therefore appreciate anything you can tell me about this. There is no problem with the indicator, the bands are a result of some market maker/liquidty provider algorithm that is bracketing price. You can see it in the DOM, there has been ~250-300 showing above and below most of the day, moving up and down with price. |

Thanks, I thought it might be something like that and appreciate the explanation.
