I am trying to develop a volume composite profile for my charts
I have set up a volume by price study using all bars in chart
What I am thinking of/trying to display is a composite volume profile starting around when the futures contract rolls over; so right now i have a start date of say september 16, 2021 for the ES contract.
How can i set the end date to be rolling forward continuously as opposed having to change it manually every day etc ...
Maybe there is a better way to set this up.
Also based on the charts i have seen of others that are using Investor RT or Sierra Charts the "heat map" for the coloring scheme of the the volume bars seems to be somewhat inverted by default. That is lower volume are red colors and higher volumes are green/blue on my default pattern. Should i just manually change them to the color scheme i am looking for or am i overlooking some eaier way to do this ?

Thank you
Steven Leon

If you are just wanting to have a Volume Profile that starts at a specific time and continues forward in time, then set the Volume Graph Period Type to Start Date-Time to End. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: From Start Date-Time To End

The colors for the Market Depth Historical Graph are defined at the top of the list of Inputs for that study, starting with the Ask colors and then the Bid colors. You would need to change these to whatever coloring you prefer. Refer to the information starting here:
Market Depth Historical Graph: Range 3 Max Ask Color

sorry i did not mean to use the term "heat map"/Market Historical depth
I was referring to the coloring on the volume by price study which uses the vpoc i believe as the maximum quantity and then others as a percentage of the vpoc to determine coloring.
so what i am looking to do is have the higher volume areas in red/orange and the lower ranges blue and green. It seems like the default is the reverse of this. i know a sierra user that has it set for with the coloring scheme that i describe initially.
I assume i will just have to change the percentages next to the individual colors ? but just to clarify my question

You can change the colors of the percentages to match however you want them to be. Refer to the inputs for what you are referring to starting at the following Input and the 2 Inputs after it:
Volume By Price Study: Color Code Volume Bars Based on Percentage of POC
