Today I noticed something weird in the GC and SI quote board numbers. In the morning SI showed for instance a 2.42% daily change percent and .533 daily change. Volume was 36.8K. In the afternoon SI showed .11% and .024 daily change with volume of 40.8K. So it seems the volume kept accumulating but the daily % and change reset. I checked BarChart and Yahoo and they showed the larger gain. Please see attached files. Thanks Mike |

This is because, the CME sent through settlement values at the time you saw the change in the daily price change. Those settlement values are received, recorded and transmitted as they are sent by the exchange.
