So the ma will calculate the past 5min from this point and not reset at each 5min. do you have that kind of ma or I need to program it? thanks |

All of the Moving Average studies are "Rolling" moving averages, meaning that it is calculating each bar based on the number of bars set by the Length Input for the study. So each bar goes back however many bars specified and the average is calculated for that group of bars. We are not sure exactly what you are looking for terms of a "resetting" average. But it does not sound like it is something that we have built in support for, so you would probably need to create it.
