(RC) Change Order Quantity in TITLE BAR

THIS MAY SEEM RINKY DINK BUT SOMEONE RECENTLY REDESIGNED THE (RC) CHANGE ORDER QUANTITY BOX IN THE TITLE BAR. IF I NEED AN ORDER QUANTITY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT I HAVE ON THE TRADE WINDOW - IT IS NEEDED TO GO THE TITLE BAR TO CHANGE THE QUANTITY.- ON MY BIG SCREEN TV - I MEASURED THIS BOX = APPROXIMATELY 3.5 INCH BY 8 INCH BOX. MY PROBLEM IS THE ACTUAL CONTROL BAR IS ONLY 1/4 INCH WIDE & THE BOX INTO WHICH I MUST PLACE THE CURSOR IS LESS THAN 1/4 INCH SQUARE. IN LIVE TRADING THIS MUST BE DONE ON THE FLY TO PLACE LIMITS FOR THE WHOLE ORDER IN ORDER TO EXIT AT PRICE. YES, I AM OLD & YES, I WEAR GLASSES. IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO PLACE THE CURSOR ON THE FLY INTO A 1/4 INCH BOX. SO I REQUEST THAT YOU USE SOME OF THE 3.5 INCHES TO WIDEN THE ACTUAL CONTROL BAR. THERE'S PLENTY OF ROOM = USE IT PLEASE!! We are not understanding this. You can change the quantity for new orders on the Trade Window and also through the buttons on the Trade Window: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Order Quantity Buttons Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main >> Order Quantity (Quantity) We do not know what title bar you are referring to. Thank you for your prompt reply. My bad for not making the issue clearer. On a ordinary price chart title bar the first item is the date. When you click the TRADE tab & click Trade Mode ON a new segment appears on the title bar ahead of the date. This area when clicked reveals a Change Order Quantity box. Although the box itself is resizable the 1/4 inch quantity control bar is not. The bar that says Quantity. I would like to see this control bar to be 2X-3X-4X times wider. There's plenty of room in this box to do so. = Thanks!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am amused that this little box is resizable but almost all of the panels are not. For instance, the trade window is not. The MAIN window covers my chart window from top to bottom but it is resized to a smaller version when the C button is hit. Resizable panels would be better. Most notably the TOOLS tab goes off the screen top & bottom. Cannot see all the tools unless I change the resolution of my computer. The ability to resize the panels by the user would be an improvement.[for all panels] Also, on my wish list is a Linux version of Sierra. Although I know you guys are the best in the world , I don't think I'll get that one. Thanks!!-------------------->Bill McdGrath |
