Hello, I have been making changes to my chart book and when I try to click DOM>studies>VBP> Volume graph period type and change it to (Based on TPO Chart), it automatically reverts to (From Session Start Time to End) when I click apply. I would like my DOM VBP to have the same values as the one on my TPO chart. I will attach a photo below to show you what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

The Trading DOM is a chart into itself, therefore it does not have a connection to the TPO graph that is on the other chart. As such, you can not add a Volume by Price and have it based on the TPO. What you would have to do is just add the Volume by Price to the Trading DOM and then set the parameters to match those of the TPO. For instance, if the TPO is set to daily, then you would want to create a VbP for the most recent day to match up. Maybe your time sessions for the chart and the DOM are different. Could be your DOM session begins later than 16:00 ? Got the same kind of DOM studies for years, for US and european markets : what counts is the DOM session times. Hope this helps ! |
