Historical Data downloads while trading. intermittent interruption

Im having an issue, that while im trading, every 5-8 mins my charts start updating saying "Historical Data downloading".... And my DOM freezes....then jumps erradicately. (murphys law it always seems to happen right when I place a trade lol) Anyways.... Is there a way I can turn off updating of the historical chart, while Im trading?? Or is this because the data feed gets dropped for a split second which triggers this download?? What is the cause here? Thanks K |

Given what you are stating then you are having some kind of connectivity issue such that it has to download the historical data.
