I am trying to short the MES in (Sim 1). As an example" The current price level is 3485. I want to enter a short position at 3480 (or lower than the current price level (CPL), but every-time and no matter what order type option (Stop, Stop-limit, etc) enters me in immediately at market or CPL. Does the same for entering long. Is it my mis-understanding on how to enter a short below the CPL or long above the CPL? |

So in this case you would want to enter a Sell Stop order at 3480: Order Types: Stop Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. ok. I think what I was looking for was "right clicking" on the DOM to enter an order equal or less than the last price. Thank you for your help.
