All Trade Windows attached to a Trade DOM or Chart flicker about once per second. If I detach the Trade Window from a Trade DOM or Chart, it stops flickering. So over the past few weeks I've resorted to detaching the trade window, but it is definitely some sort of bug which should be fixed. It's definitely distracting when attached and is a basic functionality that is not working correctly. Thank you

This is the same issue this user posted under programming help mistakenly I think.

Not sure what we can do to help with this. It is not something that we observe. And it most likely is an operating system level issue.

Windows really is absolute garbage in this area. It is horrendous, the absolute trash that Microsoft puts out, with all of the money they have.

That trade window eventually is going to be replaced with something new but not until next year.

I know SC Eng. has stated the Trade Window will eventually be replaced this year, but if interested, I did find the issue. Attaching a Control Bar to either side of a chart produces the blinking/flickering effect FOR ME (emphasis). Resizing the DOM has no effect on replication, FYI. I've attached a video of the issue if SC or others are interested. It's now not a concern for me at all. However, it may help SC pinpoint potential causes. Please see video link (no screenshot because the effect is a blinking Trade Window). The video is just over a minute long but the issue can be observed in the first 30 seconds.

Link is to a short video at Screencast-O-Matic.

I had a similar flicker issue and I was able to get rid of it by unchecking Support Multiple Rows in Tabs settings.

I found the above post very useful as I had this issue in openGL.

Currently I have chosen "No" for both Support Multiple Rows for MDI Tabs and Show Arrows Before MDI Tabs in Global settings - General Settings - Windows and this seems to be helping

I referenced the prior two posts and was able to stop the flicker. Global Settings > General Settings > Windows.......see screenshot below for my personal settings.

There should not be a flicker issue. Please configure the settings you show on the screenshot to cause the flicker and then provide us your global configuration file. This definitely should not be happening. You can privately attach the global configuration file.

This is the Sierra4.config file located in your Sierra Chart installation folder. Usually this will be C:\SierraChart\
