Date/time anchors always grayed out in the tool properties

Why so? It would be very convenient to be able to adjust the date/time parameter in the tool properties. If a tool is a long one (like a trendline on 1 min chart), changing it by dragging it is not that easy. Gann Grid and price (value) range rectangles are other examples of when it would be a good option to have.
