Custom Studies not loading in 2094

I loaded SC earlier and the custom studies didn't load correctly. I put them all back, closed SC and when SC restarted they were still not showing, even after saving them.
Did I do something wrong?

Same problem noted here too, open chart book, studies are listed in studies to graph as 'Custom DLL Study'.
Can re-add studies but the same problem returns after save, close & reopen.

The newly created .backup2092 chartbook opens and loads correctly, so maybe some problem related to new chartbook format.
Reverted to v2092.

Reverted to v2092.

Is the return without problems? Just downgrade or completely reinstall?

Just downgrade, didn't seem to be a problem. Loaded backup chartbook into v2092 and all seems ok.

We will do some testing. We added a new custom study from User Contributed Studies and did not see a problem. We will try a saved custom study in a Chartbook from a prior version.

Thanks User907968

User/custom studies will probably need to be recompiled with header files from version 2093/2094 ... this will again be confusion among people ...

The other thing we need to discuss is the new date and time class object which uses a new internal format. This is going to break compatibility with custom studies. Those will need to be recompiled when that version comes out. It is just a simple recompile though.

We created a Chartbook in version 2021, using studies from User Contributed Studies. It was a historical Daily chart with two studies. We opened that Chartbook in 2094 and the studies calculated and displayed. No problems.

If you have an issue we need to get the Chartbook and also the custom studies DLL file so we can look into this. Attach them here.

Do you have any problem if you add the custom study as a new study to the chart when using 2094?

No this is not the case. There have been no changes with the custom study interface requiring recompiling .

I apologise, I seem to have omitted a key piece of information -

The custom studies appear and calculate as expected when opening a chartbook saved pre-v2094.
Once the chartbook is saved in v2094, closed and then reopened, the studies no longer appear on opening.

I did just run VS debug and it appears that the sc.SetDefaults block is not being executed when opening the chartbook.

There is no problem when adding as a new study, until the chartbook is saved and reopened that is.

In any case, requested files are attached for your inspection.

There still seems to be an issue with this and OpenGL in 2095.

Sorry I meant to actually post in the thread about settings not saving in the newer version. But in one of the instances in all chartbooks the color for down candle fills is setting to something other than what I have saved in previous versions.

Okay we will check on this.

Update:
We do not see a problem with this. Are you controlling this color through Chart >> Graphics Settings-Chart and not the global Graphics Settings?

Yes the color is being controlled through the chart specific setting. It is only occurring in 1 of the sub-instances. I am using 1 main instance with 3 sub-instances. I will try to delete the chartbook and replace and see if that fixes it.

No that should not be necessary. If you provide us the Chartbook we can test it. Instructions:

It seems that the global setting is overriding the chart setting. I changed the global candle down color and changed it on the chart again to be sure and upon restart everything was normal. The other settings seem to be properly controlled by the chart graphics settings.
