Programatically add a study to a chart

Hi, Once a chart has been programmatically opened using sc.OpenChartOrGetChartReference(), is it possible to programmatically apply a study to that chart and use that new chart/study as the source (such as with Study/Price Overlay)? An older support response post indicated this feature was coming, but I haven't been able to find it. No this is not supported and will not be coming anytime soon.
