Since updating to around 2038/2040 I am seeing previous day's PnL persist in the Trade Dom display into new sessions. I have been through the Trade activity log documentation but I cannot work out why this might be. This is in the Sim account. Data from CQG via AMP. Instrument: MES with global symbols settings applied. Global time set to my local time zone. Any help appreciated. |

I've noticed the same.. they don't reset until you take your first trade in the new session and then they calculate from 0.

Yes this is true and is documented in the recent release notes: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php Also, the calculation would not start at zero if in a new trading day you are closing a position. It would show the profit/loss from that closed position. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thanks for clarifying SC. I can see the logic of this new implementation, but with respect it seems counter-intuitive (for day traders) to begin a new day looking at yesterday's daily PnL. Anyway, I'll leave it there. Not worth dying in a ditch over. |
