How do I drop seconds from the chart time axis? I want just HH:MM in larger font.

Refer to this setting to remove the seconds from the Time Scale: Chart Settings: Include Seconds on Intraday Chart Timescale (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale menu) The font for the time scale is controlled with the Chart Text Font.
