hi i'm a linux user. i'm trying to update SC to version 2011. but i wasn't successful using SierraChartFileDownloader.exe, or the portable version. is it possible that you can send me a link to a standalone installer for version 2011? i was able to install the previous version 1310SierraChartSetupNoCLRPrerelease.exe only but i need to update in order to work with my datafeed. thanks

You need to use the zip installer:

How could you have difficulty with a Zip installer? It does not get any more straightforward than that.

well, after i unzipped to a folder, then i clicked on sierrachart.exe or sierrachart64.exe for installation. sierrchart.exe give me an error(couldn't remember the error) when double clicked on it and abort the installation. sierrachart64.exe doesn't do anything.

Since you are using Linux this is not anything we can help with. We do not know what the problem is. But certainly it is not related to the installer.

The easiest way to do the update on linux is by opening the older version of SC, go to "Help" -> "Download Current Version" and follow instructions. This will update you to latest version (2011) and re-open SC.

If you still have issues I guess it maybe related to your Linux/WINE installation, which hopefully I can help if you provide more info like what distro you are running, how you installed Sierra Chart in the first place and how you are launching it.
