Color Bar Based Alert - Extend to future intersection

I have a problem with Color Bar based Alert. Option of extending the alert value to future intersection works as it was set to extend to end of chart (see picture). Am I doing something wrong or not understanding how it should work? I need to extend the study value indicated by blue arrow until intersection. |

This is definitively not going to work as you expect when that study is based on a study which does not consist of the main price graph bars. This is just not supported.
