Get ready to puke, another data/service confusion question. For the Trial with CME and Market depth live data, is it just the SC $5 fee, or is there any additional exchange trial fee I need to add to my available balance? On the "Activate and Pay for Sierra Chart Services" > "Available Service" should there not be a "Trial" selection in the Pull Down Menu? For the TRIAL live CME data, do I understand correctly I must activate a funded futures account with approved execution firm, or only after the trial expires to continue receiving live data at reduced pricing? Thanks |

Sierra Chart data connecting service keeps looping "Connecting" and "Waiting to reconnect." I have closed and reopened the software three times, the same problem occurs. I have just sent you a Log file. -Thanks

We apologize for the delay with this. You are getting a Permission Denied error from Rithmic: Rithmic Trading | Message from server: Server Alert: Market Data Connection Login Failed. Result text: "permission denied" Refer to: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Permission Denied Resolution Procedure We wish this was not so difficult. If you want real-time ES futures data you can just activate the CME Globex exchange for 42 USD per month. There is no cost for this month: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Exchanges And then just simply set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to SC Data- All Services. OK but we see that on your Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed account: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures You have not activated any exchanges so the data will still be coming from Rithmic. You should activate one of the CME Group exchanges. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thank you for catching this important missed step, I'm comparing the Rithmic data feed to your Sierra Chart BarChart data feed.
