I exported an alert log which shows multiple copies of the same alert even though the alert window shows only a single alert. I am attaching two files: exported and selection copy for your review and hopefully a follow-up with an explanation. By the way, I had to shorten the exported file dramatically due to the multiple copies amassing to almost 20mb even though the other file shows 311 alert lines. I also understand a solution is available to select all and copy, so I imagine this will be a low priority fix, but just to bring to your awareness.

Your description is inconsistent. If the Alert Log only has a single alert message line, then how is it possible to save 311 alert lines through a Copy Selection? And describe the exact steps you followed to "Export" the Alerts Log. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I have 311 alert lines and each line has been duplicated multiple times amassing to almost 20mb of data. export = "save log to a file". There is nothing else to describe |

We are going to look this over. We also see the format of the exported data is not in the standard format and that needs to change. If there are 311 alert messages, then why do you say this?: even though the alert window shows only a single alert.
So you have selected File >> Save Log to File from the Alert Manager window. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I had 311 correct alert lines displayed in the window. I failed to give an accurate representation. Yes, File>>Save Log to File |

Saving of the Alerts Log was rewritten in March 2017. So any issues would have been resolved.
