Question about the Difference Bar Indicator

I am doing a pair/correlation trade between two instruments. I have both chart trade windows for each instrument set so that the P&L is based on the bid/ask price so that I can get an accurate P&L for each. I am also using the Difference Bar, and the Difference OHLC indicators to chart the difference between the two instruments.

I already read the instructions on creating a highly accurate spread chart, but for some reason the Difference indicator does not seem to be responding properly to fluctuations in price. I was curious if the Difference bar indicators are using the LAST price for its calculations instead of the bid/ask? I'm trying to troubleshoot why it is not moving in sync with the price fluctuations I am seeing. Thanks.

Yes of course the study is using the last trade prices because that is all that is contained in a chart by default.

Would you know of any "workarounds" I could possibly do to get it to respond to bid/ask prices? Unfortunately using the Last price won't work in this situation. Thanks.

You can have a look at this page:

But we are not going to provide further help with this. It is up to you if you can get this to work as expected.
