Greetings, I did a search for this in the forums but only saw a possible spreadsheet application. Would you please tell me if it is possible to automatically draw a rectangle on the current chart (from open to mid candle and extend it forward) by a mouse click on a specific candle, and if so would you please get me started in the right direction. Obviously this could be done manually but I am trying to be very precise by getting the exact open and midpoint, not just eyeballing it and since the time to calculate the exact mid point, etc. would be very time consuming when doing multiple drawings per chart I would like to automate it. Thank you, Bryan |

There is no drawing tool that does this automatically. Although you could create something using ACSIL: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ACSILDrawingTools.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. As you mentioned, it is possible to use ACSIL, but would this be through the use of a mouse click directly on the chart? Thanks again, Bryan Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-05-20 10:11:35
