Interestingly, exactly the same thing happened to me on tradingview.com before (now I happily moved to Sierra charts).

Diagonal trend-lines tend to be slightly distorted on short-term charts (3-mins, 5-mins... etc).

Why does this happen? Any chance to sort it out? It's kinda annoying.

I can upload a picture if you want.

We do not understand this.

I have two charts with the same symbol, different time-frame. Let's say one chart is 60 mins and the other one 5 mins.

I create a trend-line in the 60-mins chart. I'm sharing the drawings so I can see that same trend-line in the 5 mins chart as well, but it doesn't appear accurate... for some reason it looks slightly moved in the 5 mins chart.

Sometimes you see the price approaching a trend line in the 5 mins chart but oh surprise! You look at the 60 mins chart and you realize the trend line is still far away.

These are two images of both charts. First the 60 minutes chart with the bottom trend-line well placed. And then the 5 minutes chart with the same trend line in slightly different position.

There is not going to be an exact match.
