=and(id3.sg1[-1]<id3.sg2[-1],C>=h[-1], id3.sg1<100[-1]) Hi---id3.sg1 references the slow k of a slow stochastic study---works just fine until I reference one bar ago [-1]. What am I missing? Many thanks, Cy |

All we can say is that using [-1] is valid.

What exactly are you trying to do? The underlined part of the formula does not make sense: =and(id2.sg1 > 0[-1]) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am just trying to test the formula...id2.sg1 is the slow k of the slow sto study... if referencing the current bar The formula works fine.... all bars turn chartreuse ... so I tested it one bar ago using -1....it does not work.... In other words the range on a stochastic is 0 - 100 ...so it should alert nearly every bar which it does if referencing the current bar... but no cigar if looking at the previous bar. Am I not referencing one bar ago correctly? |
