Hi,

I would like to migrate an instance of SC from a broker based data feed to the SC data feed.

The current broker based feed has ICE.

My current SC feed does not have ICE.

If I activate ICE today for my SC data feed, in preparation for April 1, it appears as though I will have to pay $115.50 for March.

If I wait until 01-APR to activate I either have to stay up until past midnight to manage the transition, or have this instance of SC, which runs automated strats, to go fallow until I can make the transition on the morning of 01-APR.

Is there a way that I can activate ICE today or tomorrow, re-direct this SC instance from my broker's data feed, to the SC data feed, yet not pay the March fee of $115?

Thanks.

No. It has to be activated April 1 or later. Also, once it is activated Sierra Chart will need to be restarted.

We can do the activation for you April 1, but that is not going to help because you will have to restart Sierra Chart.

In an upcoming version you will not have to do the restart, but it will still be necessary to reconnect to the data feed. So some manual intervention is still necessary.

I have activated ICE and see that it is running after a restart of SC and an update to the symbol mapping.

However, all other markets have ceased to update even though their exchanges are 'Activated', their symbols have been updated, and SC has been restarted.

Any insights here?

We see that you have the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service in Sierra Chart set to "SC Data - All Services"

It needs to be set to a futures trading service as explained here:

This is necessary for the CME data.

You should still be receiving the EUREX data.
