Today (28 Dec 2015, 9:31 CST) I wanted to check my charts, the last data was from 24 Dec (my data provider is IB). After manually Downloading the historical Data the actual day was shown. Do I have to do this manually?

You do not normally have to do that manually. It sounds as though your Interactive Brokers account was not providing real-time data for the symbols of those charts.
