I am trying to create something the colors the bars red below a specific moving average cross and green if above the cross? I cant seem to find how to do this. Thanks for any help. the moving averages used are HLC avg 4 period and a 7 period. |

Use two instances of the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study, one for each color, with these formulas on the respective Alerts tab: Green: =ID1.SG1>ID2.SG1 Red: =ID1.SG1<ID2.SG1 where the faster MA is ID1 and the slower MA is ID2. Edit as needed. |

Did you set the colors of each Color Bar study?

Yes I did that. they were all green, then I added the second study you said and made it red. I guess the red took over the green , and all was red?

Are you using a different formula in each Color Bar study? It works for me. See pic. |
