I have just downloaded v1253 and now cannot open Sierra. The message on screen reads there is a problem and the program needs to close. Windows is looking for a solution.

Please advise.

Thanks

We apologize for this.

Please attach the Chartbook that you are opening which triggers this abnormal shutdown. Here are instructions:

We are also releasing 1254 in the next 20 minutes. We want you to try that and let us know if you still experience the problem.

Version 1254 has now been released. Update with Help >> Download Prerelease.

If that does not solve the problem, go back to the version you were previously running. Here is the procedure:

And when you can, please do provide us the Chartbook so we can track down the problem and correct it. It can be privately attached.

I can't get Sierra to stay running long enough to get to the menu to install 1254 or to roll back. Do you have the ability for remote assistance?

Thanks

We see you are a TransAct user. Download Sierra Chart with this link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartSetupNoCLRPrerelease.exe

When prompted for the installation folder use C:\SierraChart\SierraChartTransActMA

When the installation is completed, launch Sierra Chart from the TransAct AT software.

The version downloaded from this link still looks like 1253. Can I get remote assistance?

Thanks,

Now I see v1254, but have the same issue. Every time I ask for remote assistance I get referred to a link. Is there a problem with remote assistance?

For the record. The user has been called. There was a faulty DLL file which was removed.
