My an auto trading system uses the same symbol, displayed on multiple Bar Periods Charts, each with the Spreadsheet System for Trading study attached. I use the Chart 1 "Spreadsheet System for Trading" to drive a Buy/Sell trading action, that is generated from the calculated results of all Sheets used in the Study. One for each Chart. How Can I make this work in the NEW Spreadsheet System for Trading ? |

As long as all of the Sheets being used are within the same Spreadsheet window, then it will work. It sounds like this is the case.

Assuming your formulas use functions supported by the New Spreadsheet, it will work in the New Spreadsheets if you use the same-named spreadsheet file on all the charts in the same chartbook. Each chart will appear on its own Sheet#. Reference other sheets like this: =Sheet2!D3 Other things to consider: -When referencing text, the New Spreadsheets are case-sensitive. -The New Spreadsheets do not support: --referencing separate spreadsheet file names. --circular referencing that the Old Spreadsheets used to lock a TRUE condition. --conditional formatting and cell borders. They only support basic text and background coloring. --password protection of workbook structure. |

This is supported in New Spreadsheets: --circular referencing that the Old Spreadsheets used to lock a TRUE condition. This has been confirmed to work and was supported from the beginning. OK but a reference in a cell to itself is not considered a true circular reference.
