I am using Sierra Charts for trading. I want to develop a colour round solid point/triangle marker. The marker must be displayed on the Numbers Bars chart (Region 1). When the candle stick is green, but Delta is negative, there must be a red round (circle) solid marker displayed. When there is a red candle, but Delta is positive, there must be a green round (circle) solid marker displayed. The triangles must be displayed just above the relevant candlestick bar (Region 1 of the Numbers Bars chart). I got the following info, but I can not get a round marker to display: - When I display a "Colour Bar based on Alert Conditions" for a RED display, I typed in: =AND(C > 0,ID: 300,SG1 < 0) and vice versa for a GREEN display. I am not sure if the SG and ID formats are right. Can you assist? Kind regards Deon |

this part does not make sense: ID: 300 Refer to the following for how to reference a study and subgraph in an alert: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Other Studies on the Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, It is the code when you click on Analysis and have chosen Numbers Bars - at the end of that sentence is an ID ..... Deon |

What exactly are you wanting to do? What are you trying to alert on?

When the candle stick in Numbers Bars is green, but Delta Iin Numbers Bars Calculated Values) is negative, there must be a red round (circle) solid marker/dot displayed. When there is a red candle, but Delta is positive, there must be a green round (circle) solid marker displayed. The triangles must be displayed just above the relevant candlestick bar (Region 1 of the Numbers Bars chart).

If the ID of the Numbers Bars Calculated Values study is 300, then your formula should be the following: =AND(C > 0, ID:300.SG1 < 0) Note that the ID:300.SG1 needs to be all together with no spaces. The ID of the study goes immediately after the "ID:" and then there needs to be a period between that ID and the "SG" that follows. The Number after SG is the subgraph number of the particular subgraph you want to test for the study with the given ID.
