Hello, On my live Teton account, I configured the User Profit/Loss Management tab as follows: - Flatten All Positions When Loss Rule Met: Yes - Loss Trigger Value in Account Currency: 200 - Action When Loss Trigger Rule Met: Flatten Positions for Trading Account Clicking Commit this Tab returns “Commit of user profit/loss management data is successful.” The settings remain saved after clicking Update, but CalculatedLossTriggerValueInAccountCurrency remains at 0. The account currently has a zero balance, no open positions, and no working orders. Could you please confirm: 1. Is this server-side functionality currently operational for my live Teton account? 2. Does the zero account balance explain why the calculated loss trigger remains at 0? 3. Can I change or disable the rule before the loss limit is reached? 4. Once the loss limit triggers, can I disable or reset the trading lock, or must I wait until the next trading day? 5. At exactly what time and in which time zone does the lock reset? 6. Does the protection remain active if I close Sierra Chart or lose my internet connection? 7. Would you consider adding a server-side maximum loss per trade, measured from flat to flat and including both realized P/L from partial exits and unrealized P/L? Ideally, it would automatically close the remaining position and cancel working orders when the limit is reached. Regarding the last question, I understand that stop-loss orders are already available through Attached Orders. However, emotions can sometimes lead traders to move or cancel their stops impulsively. A server-enforced limit that cannot be increased or disabled during an open trade would provide an additional safeguard. Thank you for your clarification and consideration, as always! |
