Feature Request: Add an End Time / Duration Limit to Download Depth Data from Date-Time

Currently, selecting Download Depth Data from Date-Time from the chart’s right-click menu downloads market depth data from the selected cursor time until the end of the available data. For example, I mainly trade NQ during the RTH morning session, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. So, I only need around 1.5 to 2 hours of market depth data, but the current behavior may result in downloading and storing around 9 GB of data. Would it be possible to add one of the following options? 1. Specify an end time: Allow users to select both the start and end times for downloading depth data. 2. Specify a duration: Allow users to download depth data for a fixed duration from the selected cursor time, such as 1 or 2 hours. This would benefit both users and Sierra Chart. Users can save disk space and reduce unnecessary data usage, while Sierra Chart can reduce bandwidth consumption by not transferring market depth data that users do not need. Thank you for considering this feature request. |

If the first two options are not feasible, maybe can show the download progress in the Message Log? At least I can monitor the download and click on Edit >> Cancel Market Depth Data Downloads once the market depth data has reached 10:00 AM. |
