Market Depth Historical Graph Colors Not Updating and DOM Showing 0 Levels – Help

Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am having trouble getting the Market Depth Historical Graph and DOM to work correctly for Gold Futures (GC). I am using Trading Evaluator - Delayed as my data service. I would like to configure my charts for order flow analysis, including a heatmap showing bid and ask liquidity with different colors. However, I am experiencing two problems that I have been unable to resolve. 1. Market Depth Historical Graph colors do not change The Market Depth Historical Graph mainly displays black or what appears to be the lowest liquidity range. I have configured different colors for the liquidity ranges, including red, yellow, blue, and black. I have tried changing the following settings, but nothing seems to affect the displayed colors: Range 0–3 Min/Max Bid/Ask Colors Use Range Minimum Colors Intensity settings Use Percent or Actual Values for Threshold Levels Value Type for Highest Quantity for Coloring Highest Quantity for Coloring The last two settings are both set to 0, and Use Percent or Actual Values for Threshold Levels is set to Percent. I also changed Range 3 Max Ask Color to a very bright green and clicked Apply and OK, but the heatmap did not change at all. 2. Market Depth Window (DOM) shows 0 levels When I open the Market Depth Window, both the bid and ask sides show 0 levels. I cannot see the market depth information I expect. 3. Settings I have already checked I have checked the following settings: Data service: Trading Evaluator - Delayed Support Downloading Historical Market Depth Data: Yes Maximum Historical Market Depth Days to Download: 30 Record Market Depth Data: I have checked the relevant Symbol Settings. Use Custom Symbol Settings Values: I have checked this setting. I have also reviewed the relevant Symbol Settings and Chart Settings, but the problems remain. The Message Log displays Chart Data is Complete, but I am not sure whether this confirms that historical market depth data has been downloaded. I have also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the data feed and changing the settings, but I still cannot get the DOM to display market depth or the heatmap colors to respond to my changes. Questions Does Trading Evaluator - Delayed provide both current delayed market depth and historical market depth data for COMEX Gold Futures (GC)? How can I verify whether market depth data is actually being received and whether historical depth data is available for my specific contract? Why does the DOM show 0 bid and ask levels? Why do changes to the Market Depth Historical Graph color settings have no visible effect, even when I select a completely different color? Are there any additional data service, symbol, or chart settings I should check? I would appreciate step-by-step guidance to identify the underlying cause. I would prefer to resolve this using my existing delayed data service before considering a real-time data subscription. Thank you for your help. |
