Note: CME Group in this post, refers to the following exchanges: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Teton order routing is provided by Sierra Chart, and has superior order routing compared to CQG and Rithmic and is completely free (Other than, commissions you pay your broker). If you are with CQG still, and your trading through AMP, related to the 25% margin requirement overnight, we have discussed this with AMP, and based upon what we heard we would expect this higher-margin requirement to go away. Please request this of them. If you are using CQG because you want to have a common account balance to trade EUREX and CME Group or other exchanges, that is fine and will be supported. In this case you need to stay with CQG. If you are with CQG only trading CME Group and your clearing firm currently does not support Teton Order Routing, then give us the name of the clearing firm and we will get in contact with them to support Teton order routing. If you are not sure who your clearing firm is, then give us the name of the introducing broker. It is well-established and an excellent alternative, to common platforms that these firms use like TT, CQG and Rithmic. It is free compared to them, and offer superior and order routing and reliability compared to all of them. This is already now well established and proven for years. You pay nothing, and have completely reliable trouble-free service. And low latency order routing. We plan to increase the cost of trading CME Group through CQG by requiring Service Package 12. While Teton was working perfect all day. No problems. If you are trading options then stay with CQG until options trading is supported, later on with Teton order routing. If you want to trade spreads then trading calendar spreads is supported on Teton order routing. Other types of spreads can be traded but currently there is no automatic margin for them. They have to be manually set. However, we are working on providing complete portfolio margin calculations using the CME Core margin calculator. This gives you, accurate margins even when trading individual legs of a spread. This will be an option on an account to use this type of margin calculation. And you will be able to trade all types of spreads not just calendar spreads with it. Also, if you are an Rithmic, doing live trading and trading on the CME Group, please get off Rithmic as soon as possible and move to Teton Order Routing.
