I have spent a full year getting my Sierra Chart to work with multiple monitors. I have installed four different operating systems and finally settled on Windows 10 as being the least invasive by Miocrosoft. I finally had my Sierra Chart working perfectly for the first time in a year. That is until about three weeks ago and problem with freezing charts when changing chartbooks, restore not working when I leave the chart in the chartbook in full size then change to a different chartbook, then go back to the last chartbook and now the chart will not restore and I must resize it manually. Not only that, when I go back to the chart the system is not remembering the size of my chart. I have also had random freezing and other issues that others have mentioned as well. I understand that Sierra Chart changed things, decided that Sierra Chart should manage the windows instead of using MS Windows to handle it? I understand that other SC users are having issues also. I have downloaded the latest version twice and then went back to 1813 as suggested. I have been looking for a SC thread (failed to find one) that I could follow to get updates and see what advice, progress, solutions are being worked on or have have been made. Please advise me as to how I can keep updated while you work out the kinks of these changes. Thank you |

This is the only possibility to resolve issues with MDI Windows and control bars, and tab controls. All of which have been resolved, earlier this year. I understand that other SC users are having issues also. No definitely not. We are not aware of any outstanding issues involving the new MDI functionality as of the last two months or so.The remaining issues have definitely been resolved and 2 users who reported problems, in the last 2 to 3 months confirmed they have been resolved. So if you still have a problem we need to do a remote assistance session to look at this. We would not expect there to be an issue. We need to know what version you updated to? The latest version is 2957. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
