Global settings not being applied

Hello I am trying to change some of the tool settings in the global settings menu but they are not being applied. I have made sure use custom symbols setting is enabled on the global symbol settings menu. Any help for other things to try is appreciated

Uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it

Most probably Sierra Chart is not installed into the proper folder. It needs to be installed into \SierraChart. It can be put on any drive but needs to be installed into a folder other than Program Files. That is a protected folder and not the right folder to install Sierra Chart into.

OK I have a separate hard drive installed just for SC and it has no folders, so I just made one called program files. I will reinstall into a \SierraChart folder. Thank you
