Have had this error for like a year now, all versions... 2026-08-24 00:02:46.969 | HD Request # 3 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for ESU26_FUT_CME. Historical data logon error: Unsupported protocol version Now, the fix... Is simply to turn on ExpressVPN, or Proton VPN, and everything works. I'm still on Windows 10, not 11. |

Always mystified why the main client can connect, and the data cannot. "BR:" gets stuck at like 1000-2000, until VPN is on, then it surges to megabytes. Why does sierra have issues with mobile ISP's and transparent proxies? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-08-24 13:41:06

We can not answer this question. What you are referring to is related to your Internet connection, which we have no control over.

Yes you do. Your software connects, but your data server does not. Why?

ISP's filter out the ports and protocols on your data connections like SC Historical data service, but not on your login server and etc connections. Half of mobile providers do that to your data, and accept everyone elses data. These are not just mobile phone ISP's... These are 5G 200-500 megabit mobile data providers that block your service. Well, they dont exactly block it, but they detect your content, and try to cache it, and screw up your protocols. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-08-24 16:14:03
