Hi, hoping to get your help with a study measure - I'm looking for a direct, single subgraph for the Bid Volume and Ask Volume separately, specifically at the POC's price level (i.e. the buy/sell split instead of the total volume, at the candle's POC price level) Do you know if there's already a built-in study for this or do I need to turn to ACSIL for this ask? Much appreciated in advance! :) |

There is not a study that does this directly, but you do not need to use ACSIL to get what you want. What you need to do is to use the "Spreadsheet Formula" study and enter a formula like the following to get the Ask volume at the POC level: =AVAP(ID1.SG1, 0) Where ID1 is the ID of a study that gives you the POC price level and SG1 is the subgraph that holds that POC price level. We are not certain of what you are looking for in terms of the POC, so we can not give specifics. But for an example, if you use the "Volume Point of Control for Bars", then this will give you the Point of Control for each bar. You would then reference that study with your ID1.SG1 in the above. Refer to the following: Volume Point of Control for Bars Refer to the following for the Spreadsheet Formula study: Spreadsheet Formula And refer to the following which gives you the syntax for how to access the Bid, Ask, and Total Volume at a price level in a bar: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Special Functions Also refer to examples 41, 42, and 43 at the following link: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Alert Formula Examples For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
