I am given to understand that it is not possible to export Single Prints directly using a dll created by a cpp file.

What is your guidance on how to determine a Single Print has been formed using a cpp file / dll?

There is not a way to directly get TPO Profile Singles. Here is the documented logic of them:
Time Price Opportunity (TPO) Profile Charts: Extend Singles

You can then use this function to obtain the number of TPO profile blocks/letters per price level and then determine which price level is a single within a specific profile:
