MNQU26-CME 1-sec chart. When I reduce the price scaling (compress the scale), some depth bars are no longer displayed. Changing the scale back makes them show again, so the data is there. This isn't a combining issue — Combine Increment in Ticks = 1, Automatic Combine Increment Adjustment Value = 0. As a specific example: the yellow bar at 28770 and the red bar at 28750 are both visible in the first screenshot but disappear after the scaling is reduced in the second. In my color settings, yellow and red represent the higher-tier (larger) resting orders, so these are significant levels — not low-quantity bars being faded out. Is there any way to fix this so all bars stay visible at a compressed scale? If there's no current setting for it, I'd consider this something that should be improved, since valid depth data is being hidden purely due to scaling. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1784528421844.png https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1784528490916.png Thanks. |

This is a display issue. You are compressing the scale such that very thin lines (probably 1 price level) of the Market Depth Historical Graph are no longer visible as there is no room to display them. The system is attempting to draw them, but due to your monitor resolution and pixel spacing, the actualy line is not being drawn to the monitor. The solution is to aggregate the data so when you compress the scale, you will not lose those lines. Refer to the following Input and the one below it: Market Depth Historical Graph: Combine Increment in Ticks For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
