NQ Friday 7/10/2026 10:32:41 - SC not showing chart price during huge selloff

On Friday, NQ had a huge reaction to some news that caused the market to drop very quickly. SC didn't show price movement for several seconds and/or was showing spurts of market data with multi-second gaps instead of the usual constant stream. I can replicate this in replay from a duplicated chart with all studies removed and it happens with OS timers and SC timers. Is there any SC configuration that can handle this, or is this a shortcoming of SC that might be able to be improved, or is this a limitation on the exchange/market infrastructure side and nothing can be done about it? Are you referring to 10:30 AM Eastern time July 10, 2026? We replayed that part and there are no issues. Replay is extremely fast and stable. If you are having a problem during a replay, then you need to reduce the CPU usage in the chart. You should go through a process of elimination just by opening only one single chart for NQ without any studies and do a replay and see if you can reproduce the problem. If so, then this is going to be a system specific issue. Also re-download the data for that timeframe in case there is any missing data. At 10:32:41 on Friday 7/10 on NQ. It was a huge influx of volume and the market sold off a couple hundred points or so in seconds. If you have the time and wouldn't mind, could you record a video of SC on this chart during this time frame (maybe a 1 to 2 minute) video? And I will try your suggestion as soon as I can. |
