updated to new version (though I had to start SC manually myself which usually does itself). No issue is gone... thx anyway. |

see my settings. I do change the time zone twice a day. to NY in the (european) afternoon and then back to Brussel. Can this be a problem? but if then it should also be for other symbols, shouldnt it? when I close SC and start new all charts show "wating to download ..." in yellow. only fgbl shows "downloading continous data" in blue. after starting SC it works now again. hm, will see how long. With the Session Times you have shown in that chart, there should not be a problem right now. Are you aware that you can set a time zone individually for charts and not globally. We need to understand what the cause of the problem is. Is this due to the Session Times? You need to set the session times to 0:00:00 and 23:59:59 to see if this is a time zone or session times issue. Otherwise, we do not know what the problem is. no, my time setting is right. in when I start SC it works. then when I change chartbooks and - well just work with SC it suddenly stops. I will try to make a new chart book. as I said. when starting SC all windows show "waiting to downolad hisotrical data", ONLY FGBl shows "downloading continous contract data". what might be the reason for that? and everytime I change the time period (like from 60m to 5m) it makes "download contin contract data" while in all other CBs it only loads the data to the chart (as should be downloaded anyway already). Is this the problem you are referring to?: ONLY FGBl shows "downloading continous contract data". what might be the reason for that?
We thought you had a problem where the chart bars are not updating and you see the price box on the right side of the chart update. When you see the message Downloading Continuous Contract Data, does it go away when the historical data download is complete? There is a reason why this may occur . It has to do with the rollover dates and detecting that more data needs to be downloaded. yes my problem is not updating bars and seing the price box on the right side. this is only thing I wanted to show with the picture. you can forget all the rest on it. I thought the "downoading contract" might be the problem. thats why I mentioned it. because the fGBL charts do this EVERY time I change time period. this can not be rollover problem, can it. because when I switch back from 10 to 5 mins the data should be there. but it does download each time. |

We understand why this happens and we will run a test to see what we can do. Tell us what the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Days to Load is set to in the FGBL chart which does this. However, once the data downloading completes, the chart will update as long as the Session Times are not filtering out the data. So still we are puzzled as to why you have any chart updating problem. the days are 50 and 30 (at the moment, I do change that sometimes but not recently) charts. Bars do not update in ALL FGBL charts (well - once the updating stops. before it works in all of them. I will check today again and let you know in case its working again). I am fully aware of the session times and I work with both evening session and full session and I frequently switch between both with strg-g. For all european contracts I use 9:00:00 - 17:29:59 as session times and 00:00:00 - 23:59:59 for "use evening session". I never change that. |

when I go to Edit > Edit download data for intraday chart and I click on "delete and download data from current position to end" I get Cannot delete and re-download Intraday data during a download. | 2014-11-05 08:34:42 * in the message log. but I am not aware it does any downloading. can this be the problem? |

Do the changes with the pointer eventually stop? If not, do you see any messages added to Window >> Show/Hide Message Log while it is happening?
