Hi everyone,

I have an old Sierra Chart chartbook (a .cht file) from a few years ago that I need to open, but the platform won't let me open it directly anymore. I know it needs to be converted to the current modern format.

I remember doing this exact process a few years back, but for the life of me, I can't remember the steps anymore.

Could anyone give me a quick step-by-step guide on how to properly convert an old chartbook so it can be opened in the latest version of Sierra Chart? Do I need to enable a specific setting under General Settings, or is there another way to force the conversion?

Any help or a quick walkthrough would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

The instructions to do this are here:
Chartbooks (Workspaces): Opening Older Chartbooks

But, those instructions were setup when we first made a change to the Chartbook format several years ago. At this point, if you are having a problem with a chartbook, then the chances are that the chartbook is not working due to the changes, but probably is corrupted for some reason - in which case you will not be able to open it at all.
