Moving Sierra from Parallels VM to a VPS

Hi John, I want to move Sierra from Parallels VM on my MAC to a VPS. Everything I'm reading says not to move Sierra chart itself but to first download a new version of Sierra on my VPS and then just move my data files over. Does that make sense to you and will I be able to download another version of Sierra? Thanks much. |

You can do it either way.
