Dear Support I've read some posts going back to 2013 where toolbars on individual charts was a feature request, now implemented probably a long while back. So, here is a quick question. When I detach a window I typically lose any toolbars and have to add then back to the now detached chart -great no issues. But are there any conflicts when re-attaching the window following which the original toolbars return. Am I leaving something attached that could cause a conflict and if so should I remove the toolbar/s from a chart before re-attaching. Many thanks. |

You do not need to do anything special with the Control Bars when attaching/detaching a window. As you have noted, when you have a chart specific control bar setup for it, it only shows when that window is attached to the main Sierra Chart window. When you detach that chart, then the chart specific control bars are no longer visible. In this case, in order to have a control bar for that detached chart, you need to add a "global" control bar for that specific chart (this part is how it has always been). Now, once you have this setup, if you attach the chart again, any "global" control bars that were setup for that chart are no longer displayed, and any chart specific control bars are displayed. If you detach that window, then the opposite occurs. So once you have it setup, you can have the control bars exactly as you want them for the Attached/Detached situations and not have to do anything further.
