when I use sc.Close[sc.Index]; in acsil, this should return the closing price, but when using bar based replay, it only returns the open for me.

This does not make sense. You will have to determine what the problem is in your case based upon the configuration of the chart. Remove all studies from the chart. Other than the custom study.
