The first thing you need to understand is the difference between Daily historical data and Intraday data. Daily and higher timeframes, by default, use the daily historical data, which comes from the exchange with just the following information:
- Open
- High
- Low
- Close
- Volume

Whereas intraday data, depending on what increment you are storing the data in, contains the individual trades.

Refer to the following regarding how a Volume Profile is calculated for Daily historical data:
Volume By Price Study: How Volume by Price is Calculated for Historical Daily and Higher Timeframe Charts

So you need to decide which data you want to use in order to setup your bar data properly and then to get the Volume by Price that you are actually wanting.

If you want to use Intraday data to create these higher timeframes, then you need to set the chart to have the "Chart Data Type" set to "Intraday Chart Only". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range and Limiting Method)

From there, you can then setup the Volume Profile as you want it. Refer to the following for how to setup the study to have one profile per bar:
Volume By Price Study: One Volume Profile per Chart Bar

Yes, it's totally possible. But is that what you really want? Here's a screenshot of what it looks like. Trying to get a volume profile to look readable on a daily chart is a challenge because the candle is so dominant (but you can tweak the candle to something exactly how you want it-see screenshot examples). What's far more common is to use a smaller time frame, say 15min and have the volume profile plot over the daily session. But if you really want something like this, here's how you do it.
Chart>>Chart Settings>>Chart Data Type. On your daily chart, set it to Intraday Chart.
Chart>>Chart Settings>>Bar Period Value. Set this to 1-0-0
Install Volume By Price Study on your chart
Draw Mode = Volume Profiles or you can experiment with the other options
Volume Graph Period = Multiple Profiles Based on Bar Count
Time period type for 'fixed time' = Days
Time period length for 'fixed time' = 1
Max Volume bar width percentage = 100. Experiment with this. 80 might be better for you.
The rest is colors and personal preferences which you'll have to look up (use Chat or Perplexity, it will walk you through everything.)
