Data feed problems on fast tapes

Hello, I am having a problem with my sierra chart system these past couple days as it relates to the data feed. The tape has been fast, and the data seems to pause slightly, then catch back up. I have been continuously having to disconnect and reconnect the data feed. It is ever so sudden, but it is continuously happening all day. Then, a headline hit and it completely froze my system from the rapid influx of data hitting my DOMs. I then disconnected and tried to reconnect it is taking a while to reconnect. I have optimized my entire chartbook for speed, and I have a beefed up PC, so that shouldn't be the issue. Is this something I can fix somehow? Or, is there anything you all are working on in the backend that this is happening? Thank you in advance for your review. Best, Jared |

Today it looks very apparent that the problem is with Internet service providers, in the data center we are operating from.

Okay, thanks for the update. Do you have an idea of when the fix with data center internet will be back to normal operation?

There is no no fix for something like this. It is not even anything we would mention to them because they probably would deny any problem. These are just transient problems.
