Hey So Ive been noticing something lately regarding some Rithmic feeds (I know Rithmic is sometimes shit, but thats not my point) My question is.... If I have Denali as my main feed, and I set `Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds` set to Yes, then it will use Denali over Rithmic. Right?? But then howcome sometimes, my Apex feed will be lagging like 3 seconds behind my other instance which might be my live broker, or just SC Data? Theoretically, I should just always see the Denali feed/data correct? (it should just be orders/trades that are being routed to Rithmic) So why the discrepancy? Is it because you do curerent quote/timestamp matching, or something under the hood, to get the two feeds to sync?? That causes it to try match the Rithmic quotes to SC quotes? And then can sometimes cause severe lag / jumpiness Please can you clarify what is going on here? Or look into a fix for it (if any/possible)? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-06-08 19:48:19

Correct, for those exchanges that you have active with our Denali Exchange Data Feed. But then howcome sometimes, my Apex feed will be lagging like 3 seconds behind my other instance which might be my live broker, or just SC Data?
The data flow does have a dependency on the connection to your trading service. If the connection to your trading service drops, then the data stops as well. It does not matter where the data is supposed to come from. Theoretically, I should just always see the Denali feed/data correct? (it should just be orders/trades that are being routed to Rithmic)
So why the discrepancy? No, these are tied together as noted above. Is it because you do curerent quote/timestamp matching, or something under the hood, to get the two feeds to sync??
That causes it to try match the Rithmic quotes to SC quotes? And then can sometimes cause severe lag / jumpiness It is something "under the hood" as you state, but it is not about lining up information. This is just one of those things for how Sierra Chart is built, and goes back far enough that we do not know what the exact reason was for why it was done this way - it is just how it is.
