I have a "Symbol Display Study" on a duplicate chart with custom text added via the "Modify Text" as well as custom text color and background color. When I make a change to my main chart the "Chart Drawing Properties" including "Modify Text" on the duplicate chart switches back to default. See attached image for example of what I'm referring to. I have looked through the Global Settings documentation and tried Google. But I could not find a way to prevent this from reoccurring. How can I prevent the settings on a Duplicate chart from being overwritten whenever I change something on the main chart. I'm new to Sierra Chart so any screenshots is greatly appreciated.

That chart has linking turned on as evidenced by the "L:1" on the title bar.

Yes, the duplicate chart is linked to the main chart, link type "Link Scroll Position". Is the link the culprit? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-06-05 03:13:32
